Privacy Policy
We collect the minimum needed to run the service — and nothing we can sell.
Public pages
Menus, short-link pages, and marketing pages load no third-party scripts and set no cookies. When someone scans your QR code, we count the scan for your analytics but we don't collect the scanner's personal data.
What we collect
- Your account: the email you sign up with, and the team and venue details you enter.
- Your content: menus, dishes, prices, links, and QR codes — everything you create.
- Scan analytics: counts of scans (which code, when, roughly what device). Aggregated and anonymous.
- Payments: handled by Stripe on Stripe's checkout. We never store card numbers.
What we don't do
- No third-party ad or analytics scripts on any public page.
- No cookies on menus or public pages.
- No selling or renting your data — ever.
- No raw IP addresses stored. Visitor identity is a hashed, daily-rotating value.
How we use your data
To run the service — serve your menus and redirects, show you analytics, and improve the product. Lead-gen quiz answers are used only for onboarding and aggregate conversion analysis, never shared with ad platforms.
Who we share with
The services that run my-qr: Cloudflare (hosting, storage, and email) and Stripe (payments). We don't share your data with advertisers.
Retention and deletion
We keep your content while your account is active. If you downgrade or cancel, your codes keep redirecting, so their destinations stay stored. Deleting your account is self-serve: content is hard-deleted after 30 days, and your QR codes then resolve to a "menu no longer available" page.
Your rights (GDPR)
my-qr's operator is EU-based, so GDPR applies. You can access, correct, export, or delete your data at any time by emailing hello@my-qr.xyz.
